What Is Sedation Dentistry?

Your child will breathe in the gas mixed with oxygen through a mask and will remain alert and responsive throughout the procedure. This form of minimal sedation reduces anxiety and dulls the sensation of pain, making it easier to sit still and relax while getting the needed dental care. Once we administer oxygen at the end of the procedure, the effects of the nitrous oxide gas will wear off right away, so your child can go straight back to school!
